KYLA FRADETTE

Inspired by her jazz and country roots, soprano Kyla Fradette frequently performs in Vancouver as she continues her studies in Musical Theatre under Kimberly Markarian at Capilano University. Kyla completed her Bachelors of Music in 2021 under Benjamin Butterfield at the University of Victoria and presented a Graduating Recital of operatic, art song, and modern theatre repertoire. She has received formal vocal training in musical theatre, classical, pop, a cappella, and jazz repertoire, and as self-taught guitarist and songwriter, seeks to explore various genres through both composition and performance. Kyla believes that “music is the language of the heart” and seeks to inspire her students through collaborative and inclusive vocal training.
